The different properties of metals are extremely important when selecting a material. So that you know what is meant by the material designations, we have prepared a brief overview of the metals we use.
With approx. 160 different raw material items, we will definitely be able to find one that suits you. You can see an overview of the materials on the following pages.
You can select the right material in a thickness between 0.70mm and 3.00mm from our comprehensive in-store raw material range.
The majority of the materials are also available in large dimensions or coils. Your sales consultant will be happy to inform you on the dimensions or formats of the available raw material items.

Steel
DC 01, cold-rolled steel (St 12.O3)
DD 11 hot-rolled steel (StW22)
S235JRG2 structural steel (St 37-2)
Hot-dip galvanised according to DIN EN ISO 1461
(currently only for in-store perforated sheets)
Unprotected surfaces and cutting edges which develop due to further processing must be appropriately protected against corrosion.

Pre galvanised
DX 51D (galvanised send. St02)
Please note that the zinc coating does not provide a sufficient and lasting corrosion protection where used outdoors.

Aluminium
EN AW-1050-A H24 (Al 99.5 hh)
EN AW-1050-A H24 (Al 99.5 hh) PVC coated on one side, 1A-quality
For perforations with large pitch and small open area: Minimal surface scratching on both sides, PVC coating applied contaminationfree, without bubbles, trimmed edges with no or minimal burring, clean surface, low tension.
EN AW-5754 H24 (AlMg3)
EN AW-5005 H24 ef Nova 4224 (AlMg1 hh EQ), PVC coated on one side
PVC coating neatly applied, without bubbles, edges without or low in burr, clean surface, tension-relieved.
EN AW-5005 H24 EQ (AlMg1) pre-anodised on both sides E6/C0, PVC coated on one side. The inner edges of holes and cut edges do not have an anodised layer. At these locations, sufficient corrosion protection cannot be ensured. As perforation is performed on material which is PVC coated on one side, wear marks cannot be avoided on the uncoated side. Thus, it is not possible to ensure that the rear side will remain free of scratches.

Stainless steel
X5CrNi18-10 (304) 2B from ID thickness of 3.00 mm, hot-rolled
X5CrNi18-10 (304) polished grain 240 on one side, PVC coated on one side
For pre-polished material, the indentation which occurs during perforation is also polished. Optical effect: When viewed in the direction of polishing, the hole appears to be oval.
X5CrNi18-10 (304) polished grain 240 on both sides, PVC coated on both sides
In the case of our perforated sheets, which are polished on both sides, depending on the technical prerequisites, you can choose between two de signs:
• Rear side polished afterwards (after perforation), the front side can, where required, be polished again
• Material prepolished on both sides, rear side with transparent PVC coating
In the prepolished material, the indentation which develops due to the perforation is also polished. Visual effect: when viewed in the polished direction, the hole appears oval.
